To mark the celebration of World Workplace Health and Safety Day on April 28th, CONTENUR carried out a series of activities at its work centers in France, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Poland, reaffirming its commitment to employee well-being and the promotion of a prevention-focused culture.
In France, employees at CONTENUR's headquarters in Lyon took part in an engaging presentation highlighting potential risks in CONTENUR’s work environment. The session aimed to raise awareness about accident prevention and the importance of safety in daily operations.
Meanwhile, the production center in the United Kingdom, located in Knowsley, offered practical training sessions in first aid and fire safety, as well as encouraging healthy habits by distributing fresh fruit to staff.
This year, CONTENUR Poland chose to focus on specialized fire safety training. Employees participated in a dedicated training day that included both theoretical and hands-on sessions using fire extinguishers and fire control exercises.
At the work centers in Getafe, Spain, various in-person micro-workshops were held on topics such as road safety, active breaks during work, and tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, an online talk titled “From Chronic Fatigue to Full Energy: Strategies for Restorative Sleep” was offered to all employees, led by psychologist and expert David Carulla.
Finally, in Brazil, the event took place at the Mandirituba production center, where participatory activities were organized, such as the Walk for Care and Well-being, which focused on mental health and self-care, and another workshop titled “Balanced Safety”, aimed at promoting team collaboration and trust through practical exercises.
These initiatives reflect CONTENUR’s global commitment to creating safe, healthy, and collaborative work environments where prevention and employee well-being are top priorities.
