CONTENUR, a leading company in comprehensive containerisation for solid urban waste (SUW) in cities, has commenced commercial operations in Hong Kong with the supply of waste containers. This is one more step in CONTENUR's growth strategy in the region, which recently set up a commercial branch office in the area and already has regular commercial operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.
Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, located to the east of the Pearl River Delta (Zhusanjiao), with a population of approximately seven million inhabitants and an economy that has been growing over the last three decades. It is considered as being one of the four Asiatic tigers, together with Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea.
The company to which the containers have been supplied has initially selected those of 240 and 660 litres and will be deploying them at the main points in the region as well as in Guangdong in South China.
CONTENUR's growth has been in parallel to the development of innovating SUW products and services that are adapted to the new requirements of cities. CONTENUR's developments include the very latest advances in innovation that are applied to this product type, such as control and access elements, together with systems that facilitate recycling (SMART Elements) etc.
