CONTENUR made a strong impression at this year’s RWM Expo, bringing its waste collection expertise to the UK’s leading event for the waste, recycling and resource management sector.
A major talking point at the CONTENUR stand was its underground disposal column, which made CONTENUR the only underground refuse system manufacturer exhibiting a disposal column at this year’s event. The system proved a major draw for visitors, with strong interest from local authorities, waste management professionals and other industry representatives keen to see the solution first-hand.
Displaying a physical disposal column gave visitors the opportunity to explore the system up close and discuss the role that underground waste collection can play in modern waste management, particularly in environments where space, aesthetics and efficient collection are key considerations.
The underground system was showcased alongside a selection of CONTENUR’s two- and four-wheel containers, highlighting the breadth of solutions available from the company and its ability to support different waste collection requirements and environments.
As well as exhibiting, CONTENUR was proud to sponsor the Garden Waste Awards, which were presented at RWM in the LARAC Lounge, in association with the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC).
Now in their fourth year, the Garden Waste Awards recognise councils and individuals for their work in delivering and improving garden waste services. The awards highlight achievements in areas including innovation, effective service management, resident engagement and a commitment to improving services for residents.
The awards provided another opportunity for CONTENUR to support and celebrate the people working across the sector to improve waste collection services.
