The district of South Cambridgeshire in the UK has chosen CONTENUR to provide residents with an easy and sustainable way to recycle unwanted material.
The district has set itself the objective of reducing its carbon footprint by 80% by 2050 and this strategy includes the collection of WEEE waste or small electronic devices as a new waste stream. Electronic components are highly polluting and require more specialised recycling.
This pink underground container will allow residents to recycle electronic devices locally without having to travel far to do so.
